Regatta' is an Italian word meaning "contention for mastery". The stripes and angular forms are reminiscent of a race of some kind.
This large painting was designed using Adobe Illustrator and then transferred to traditional canvas. It was then painted in acrylic, with elements of canvas texture remaining (no line work texture applied for this work).
A vibrant work I thoroughly enjoyed creating.
